Our Challenge
In May 2025, Florida passed House Bill 1105. In August 2025, the Florida Board of Education implemented the rule eliminating the Certificate of Completion (COC).
This means:

Seniors who do not meet ALL graduation requirements (credits, GPA, and assessments) will NOT receive a COC.

They will NOT be able to walk across the stage at graduation.

They MUST remain enrolled until all requirements are completed.
For many seniors who thought they were close to finishing, this law means they could leave high school empty-handed, without any credential for jobs or college.
